Ebony Concept is a bespoke platform specialising in the provision of donor egg and surrogacy services to women/couples of African heritage to help fulfil their fertility needs.
African Egg Donors
Comprehensive donor egg service with our affiliates that includes sourcing, screening, recruiting, counselling, consenting, stimulating, collecting the donor eggs, synchronising donor/recipient cycles, preparing recipient for embryo transfer and supporting donor and recipient afterwards.
Egg donation is becoming an increasingly recognised fertility treatment solution for women who cannot utilise their own eggs for various reasons. About 3,000 babies are currently born in the UK each year from donor egg IVF treatment cycles.
There are various reasons why women require use of donated eggs including:
• Premature menopause (all own eggs depleted from the ovaries)
• Surgical removal of the ovaries (typically for cancer treatment)
• Intractable recurrent miscarriage with a genetic factor (genetic translocation)
We recognise that every woman is unique and that each requires individualised treatment. Our dedicated team is fully-qualified and will work with you to establish what your needs are and help you meet those needs. We work with well-established donor recruitment organisations locally who we have vetted and satisfied ourselves utilise ethical principles in their recruitment and treatment of egg donors.
Together, we will work to make your treatment journey seamless and stress-free. We would typically match potential donors as closely as possible to your specifications and offer you a choice of two donors to choose from each time. Once, agreed, our affiliates would formulate a treatment time-line for you that provides us sufficient time to screen your donor and synchronise their cycle to yours. We would anticipate completing a typical donor egg IVF treatment cycle in about 2-3 months.
Ebony Concept is pleased to support you all through the donor egg IVF treatment pathway including:
- deciding which egg donor to work with
- reaching an agreement about what kind of IVF cycle to utilise
- preparation for pregnancy
- support through the treatment cycle and afterwards
- support during the pregnancy
